Mr. Bundy was in Kindergarten in 1978 when he was picked up from wee-pals daycare in a brand new Toyota FJ55 Landcruiser. It has been a daily driver for the family ever since, and has become a legend in its own time. Although it has weathered well, after nearly 30 years it was time to do some work. This year, three of Mr. Bundy's students offered to volunteer their labor so that Mr. Bundy's car doesn't rust out beneath him. Maybe they were inspired to give back...maybe they just felt sorry for him.
The FJ55 Landcruiser is affectionately known worldwide as the Iron Pig. We hope you enjoy following the adventure as we Paint the Pig!
